Convenient, cost-effective method to deliver bubble CPAP therapy in neonatal critical care environments
The B&B Bubbler is a Bubble CPAP valve that provides a proven method of delivering 0 – 10 cm H2O bubble CPAP for use with infants weighing < 10 kg. The CPAP is adjustable from 1 to 10 cm H2O with gas flow from 1 to 12 liters per minute with accuracy of +/- 1 cm of H2O. The B&B Bubbler is intended to provide Bubble CPAP to spontaneously breathing neonates and infants who require breathing support due to conditions associated with prematurity or other conditions where Bubble CPAP is prescribed by a physician. The patent-pending B&B Bubbler’s design allows airway pressure to be set without the cumbersome and time-consuming tasks normally associated with Bubble CPAP devices.
A dual-chambered wall allows the fluid level to be observed without disrupting therapy. The B&B Bubbler also has an internal-drainable overflow chamber that limits fluid level within the optimal range. A fill port is provided for adding fluid without disengaging the circuit and the rotating CPAP dial with setting lock reduces risk of inadvertent setting changes.
The B&B Bubbler can be used in all neonatal critical care units, delivery rooms and special procedure units.
