Safe, accurate method to deliver CPAP therapy
in neonatal critical care environments

The Babi.Plus Bubble PAP Valve 0 – 10 cm H₂O provides a safe, convenient and
accurate method of delivering continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) for use
with infants weighing < 10 kg. The PAP is adjustable from 1 to 10 cm H₂O
with gas flow from 1 to 12 liters per minute with accuracy of +/- 1 cm of H₂O.
The Babi.Plus Bubble PAP Valve has FDA (510k) market clearance for single
patient use delivery of positive end expiratory pressure in patients weighing
< 10 kg in hospital environments to increase end lung pressure above
atmospheric in a constant flow condition.

The patent-pending Babi.Plus Bubble PAP Valve’s ergonomic design allows
airway pressure to be easily set without the cumbersome and time consuming
tasks normally associated with bubble CPAP devices. The PAP valve is
installed at the end of the expiratory limb in a continuous gas flow system to
provide positive pressure within the breathing circuit. A 360 degree swivel inlet
connector accepts 15 mm OD and 22 mm ID expiratory circuit connectors.
A water level adjustment port allows fluid level to be easily maintained by
adding or removing fluid without disconnecting the circuit or loss of PAP. The
expiratory ports direct gas quietly away from clinicians.

Babi.Plus Bubble PAP Valve jar has an integrated ISO compliant equipment
mount. This feature makes it easy to secure the jar onto a standard equipment
pole with a single or custom dual pole clamp. The complementary Venti.Plus™
Single Pole Clamp and Venti.Plus Dual Pole Clamp are designed specifically to
pair with Babi.Plus products and also work well with other products requiring
pole clamps. The Venti.Plus pole clamps are available separately.

The Babi.Plus Bubble PAP Valve 0 – 10 cm H₂O can be used in all neonatal
critical care units, delivery rooms and special procedure units.
